Positions Available with EcoMilkDelivery
EcoMilkDelivery is seeking competent and safe bicyclists for delivery routes in the Bellingham area. Part-time and full-time hours are available. EcoMilkDelivery provides cargo bike-trailers.
Requirements
- Ability to acquire a Food Handler's Permit from the Whatcom County Health Department.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Ability to be bonded
- Ability to ride for extended periods of time pulling up to 100 pounds in a cargo trailer is required.
- Ability to safely negotiate both city and neighborhood roads, with and without bike lanes. Understanding and use of safe bicyle skills, such as signaling, traveling with traffic and parking.
- Able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds for up to 50 feet.
- Friendly, polite and clean appearance
- Weather appropriate bike-riding gear
Responsibilities
- Safely organize and pack Cargo bike-trailer, including "Blue-Ice" packs, as needed.
- Deliver packed cooler-totes to scheduled customers. Pick up previous delivered cooler-totes.
- Keep accurate records of all deliveries.
- Collect and record payments received.
- Complete deliveries on schedule and return the Cargo bike-trailer to EcoMilkDelivery with empty cooler-totes.
